Paradolia and Nature

Paradolia in nature is a phenomenon in which a symbol or shape appears naturally, within the larger perception of an object, like a mole that looks like mickey mouse. It is a recognised shape, usually of human invention or symbol appearing in the natural world and landscape, but can also be reproduced by man.

The reason I bring up the concept, is because these "illusions" can be used for a purpose. However I should first show you what I mean. An example would be seeing a cup in the mountains and sky.

What is more interesting however, is that these primitive illusions, demonstrate the possibility of more realistic alternatives. For example the actual cup, and I mean not that the mountain range created the cup because I know not.

The reason is because of geometry and similar function ( although their is little function to the above image other then its natural beauty ), except in this context, it actually provides a means to know whether a storm is coming this way ( if the wind is blowing towards you ) since if the storm is above the cup it can pass through it.

What could also be done, is building a cup of that size, taking into consideration the lack of a solid top ( because the top is heavier and would crush people if it broke ) If it is too low it would be destroyed by the false ridge of the cup.

you could use a real moutain range behind the building, but it would not have to be as large as the mountain or a balloon. A good reason to beleive that, is that the mountains and thus the stone around it almost never form in the shape of cups at the size of mountains and rocks still fall down from them.

These creates means to inspire actual technology, such as blockades for storms (it isn't windy inside) or decor.

Thus as an experiment, I ask people to find paradolias in nature and simply discover means of learning from the natural aspects of those illusions on how those illusions form.
